THIS WEEK
The University of Utah men's tennis team will host the University of Nevada, Reno on Friday at 5:00 p.m. and New Mexico State University on Saturday at 4:00 p.m. Matches will be played at Eccles Tennis Center in Salt Lake City, Utah.
OPPOSITION
The University of Nevada faces the Utes on Friday after a three-day dual match schedule last week where they went undefeated. Nevada played wins over the University of Idaho (4-3), the University of Oregon (4-3), and Gonzaga University (6-1). Guillaume Tonelli will lead Nevada against the Utes.
The New Mexico State Aggies will be traveling to Utah for a three-day competition schedule beginning with Utah State on Friday. NMSU will face the Utes on Saturday at 4:00 p.m., and then the team will travel to Ogden, Utah to face the Weber State Wildcats on Sunday. The Aggies are led by Brice Magnanou and Stjepan Beg.
UTE NOTES
The University of Utah men's tennis team is currently ranked No. 67 in the nation by the ITA. The Utes are fresh off of wins over Utah State (5-2) and Weber State (6-1). Junior Miron Mann made his first appearance in over a year in doubles play against Weber State with partner Zach Ganger for an 8-4 win over Sascha Kiehne and Fabio Moncarella. Ganger is currently ranked No.45 in the nation in singles play by the ITA, and will lead the Utes this weekend in competition.
