Utes Travel to Portland This Weekend
After just one home game, the University of Utah baseball team is right back on the road. This weekend, the Utes head to the Pacific Northwest for a matchup with the University of Portland Pilots.
The Utah-Portland three-game series begins Friday at 3 p.m. PDT. Saturday's and Sunday's game times are set for 1 p.m.
Utah enters this week's action with a 4-13 record. The Utes are coming off a 10-inning, 13-12 loss to Gonzaga at Ute Field on Tuesday.
Portland comes into this weekend with a 9-7 overall record. The Pilots lost a 2-1 decision to nationally-ranked USC on the road Wednesday. Portland is in the midst of a three-game losing streak. However, the Pilots had won five in a row prior to their current skid.

Burnham Burns 'Em
Utah center fielder Nate Burnham (Jr., Kingwood, Texas) is off to a solid start to his Utah career. Burnham is currently batting .342 with 10 RBIs, a team-high six doubles and a team-high nine stolen bases. His batting average is tops on the team among regular players and ranks sixth in the Mountain West Conference. Burnham's 19 runs scored are tops on the team. Tuesday, Burnham hit the first home run of his Utah career.
