TEMPE, Ariz. - Oregon State scored three runs in the bottom of the first inning. It was all the nationally-ranked Beavers would need as they held off a late Utah rally to win 3-2.
Diana Phillips reached base with one out in the bottom of the seventh on a double through the right side, but her teammates were unable to push her across. Kristie Keller went 2-3, while Diana Phillips was 2-4.
