SALT LAKE CITY - The University of Utah men's tennis team rallied together Friday night for a 7-0 domination over the Nevada Wolf Pack. The Utes remain undefeated at home as they tie up their season at 4-4.

The Utes swept doubles play against Nevada, but the Wolf Pack gave them a serious run for their money. They were all close matches, but the Utes walked away victoriously with the doubles point.

Zach Ganger and Miron Mann pulled out an 8-6 win over Benjamin David and Guerin Smith from Nevada at the top spot. At No. 2 doubles, Jason Smits and Othman Zerouali-Ouariti took on Larent Garcin and Augustin Myard for an 8-5 win.

Finishing up doubles play was Amit Maharaj and Stephen Jacobs at the No. 3 spot. The Ute duo took on Kristian Kuharszky and Gabe Kanzelmeyer for an 8-6 victory.

Highlighting singles play, Ganger executed an effortless 6-1, 6-1 win over Larent Garcin at the top spot to start off things off for the Utes. Jacobs stepped in at the No. 6 slot for a 6-1, 6-3 win over Nevada's Kanzelmeyer.

Mann returned to the line-up today after suffering a foot injury. The Ute reclaimed his spot at No. 2 singles to battle Benjamin David from the Wolf Pack. Mann struggled in the first set, but was able to shut David down in the end to take the win at 6-4, 6-3

"It looks like we are finally getting in our groove. We are playing better and better and this match certainly builds confidence. Stephen Jacobs is doing a fantastic job on making our job much tougher on whom to choose at the No. 6 spot. We are looking forward to a tough road trip to New Mexico next week. We will have to play even better than today and show even more intensity!"
