Softball Diary: On The Road With Kelly and Meghan

Ok, lets just say that this weekend didn't go as planned. If you didn't hear, which you probably did if your reading this - we went 0-5! OUCH, I know! It was very unexpected. These teams didn't beat us - we beat ourselves. Which may sound weird, but it's a good thing, you'll see! We just have to have a short memory! We have to believe that we ARE GOOD and trust it!
Lets talk about the good things of the weekend. The sun shined everyday! :) I think everyone is a little sunburned. But don't worry if anyone needed or needs sunscreen I have some. Ladies - lets all protect our skin against premature skin aging!! Last weekend we had a major wiffle ball tragedy. All the balls were falling apart. Don't worry - Meg made sure all the pieces were picked up and glued back together. This weekend the coaches surprised us with a bag full of brand new ones! WHOOO get excited! It was awesome because we had a fun time on Saturday night before the game. We played hacky sack with the team and coaches. SOO much fun! It was nice to focus on having fun together, even when times were tough we were still able to laugh and have fun. LO (Laura Dahlberg) was the winner! Good job LO!
The weekend ended with a loss on Sunday, but it was good because we fought the whole game.
So Tuesday we played a double header vs. SUU. It was our first home game!! It felt so awesome to be on OUR FIELD! We played so good! It was nice to have fun music. Great cd's Dee Dee (Devina Quintero) and Sharee (Fonoti), great mix! We couldn't stop dancing. I even caught Coach A shaking it a couple of times! Coach G (Adrian Gregory) - I saw you start to shake those hips! All we have to say about the day is that we ROCKED! It was nice to play like Utah Softball again! Believe it girls: We're GOOOOOOD! Keep swinging it! It's coming together, right Stac (Staci Hemingway)!
P.S. "Diggity Di, Diggity Di, Di, Di, Di, Di, (Diana Phillips)" you are AMAZING...CHAPELLA! You amaze us everyday! KEEP IT UP GIRL!
