SAN DIEGO, CALIF. - The University of Utah men's tennis team defeated Dartmouth College on Sunday for a 5-2 victory on the road. The Utes came back to dominate singles play after winning only one match in doubles play.

Zach Ganger and Miron Mann played at the No. 1 position for the Utes to earn the only win of the day. The duo faced Mark Brodie and Jefferey Schechtman from the Big Greens' squad. The Utes earned an 8-6 victory over Brodie and Schechtman.

In singles play, Mann finished up first at the No. 3 spot. The Ute took on Justin Tzou from the Big Greens' squad. Mann forced a 6-0, 6-2 win over Tzou to tie up the Utes 1-1. Playing at the No. 1 spot, Ganger took on Mark Brodie. The Ute executed a 6-1, 6-4 win at over the Big Green

Wes Hancock stepped in at the No. 4 spot on Sunday to face Curtis Roby. The Ute dominated the courts, letting only three games slip through his fingers. Hancock took the match 6-0, 6-3.

At the No. 5 spot, Stephen Jacobs took on Ari Gayer. The Big Green overtook the Ute 6-1, 6-2 to give the Big Greens their only win in singles. Othman Zerouali-Ouariti decided the match win with his victory at the No. 2 spot. The Ute faced Daniel Freeman from the Big Greens'squad for a hard fought 7-5, 7-5 win.

Finishing out for the Utes on Sunday was Timmy Allin. The Ute was challenged by Jeff Friedman. Allin won in straight sets with a 6-4, 6-4 victory to give Utah a 5-2 win.
