SALT LAKE CITY - Academic all-conference honors were conferred on 10 University of Utah baseball players today by the Mountain West Conference office.
To be eligible for selection, student-athletes must have completed at least one academic term at the member institution while maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better, and be a starter or significant contributor on their athletic team.
Garnering the honor this year were: Michael Beltran; Robert Chimpky; Fred Ferguson; Stephen Fife; Kerr Foster; Cody Guymon; Tyler Relf; Corey Shimada; Andrew Wilding and Geoff Wolfgramm.
