FORT WORTH - The Utah baseball team continues at the Mountain West Conference tournament today against TCU in an elimination game at 3:00 p.m. (CT).
On the mound, Bryn Card (LHP, 4-2, 5.76 ERA) will pitch for the Utes. TCU is throwing Greg Holle (RHP, 5-1, 2.92 ERA).
Utah defeated TCU in the Horned Frogs' first game of the tournament, 9-7, on Wednesday, May 20. A six-run fourth inning that saw C.J. Cron and Cooper Blanc each drive in two runs lifted Utah to the win, while Brian Budrow got his fifth win on the mound and Greg Krause picked up his fourth save.
The Utes are one of three teams left in the tournament after BYU and New Mexico were eliminated yesterday. San Diego State moved into the championship game last night with a comeback 9-8 victory over Utah. The winner of today's game will face the Aztecs at 7:00 p.m. this evening.
