Utah enters the week 11-12 overall and is third in the MWC with a 6-3 record, a half match behind New Mexico. The Utes have won four of their last six matches. Utah had its three-match and 10-set win streak snapped Oct. 23 at New Mexico, but recovered nicely with a five-set Deseret First Duel victory over BYU last Friday at Crimson Court. Utah dropped a four-set match to North Dakota State on Monday.
Fisher Approaches School Dig Record: Libero Keisha Fisher (Ririe, Idaho) accounted for 19 digs Monday against North Dakota State. Fisher currently stand second in school history with 1,477 career digs, which is only 94 shy of tying Connie Dangerfield (2003-07) for the school record. She has also had double-figures in digs in 21 of 23 matches this season and 81 times over her career.
Neeley Ties Utah's Four-Set Match Dig Record: Stephanie Neeley (Saugus, Calif.) recorded her 12th double-double this season, the 26th of her career, Monday against North Dakota State. She had 43 assists and a career-high 29 digs, which tied the school record for a single, four-set match. Utah's record for digs in a four-set match was initially set by Connie Dangerfield against UNLV on Nov. 16, 2007. Neeley is fifth in school history with 2,771 career assists. She reached double-double status Monday against NDSU after registering 13 assists and 10 digs in the first set alone.
