What is your favorite baseball memory?
Winning the gold medal with Team USA in Venezuela in 2006.
What do you like to do when you are not playing baseball?
Hang out with my wife, go golfing, watch movies.
Do you have a nickname? How did you get your nickname?
Not really. `Duke,' but that's normal.
Why did you choose Utah? What is the best thing about Utah?
It's a good place to go to school and it allows me to be close to my family.
Who has been the biggest influence in your life and why?
My dad because of the example he set for me in life.
My favorite thing about Salt Lake City is:
There are a lot of fun things to do and it's a clean, nice place.
The teammate I most admire is who, and why?
Joe Pond and Austin Shackelford for their work ethics.
What do you like best about Coach Kinneberg?
He's a great guy and truly cares about his players.
What are your goals for this year?
To be more consistent and help the team win a conference championship.
What are your pregame superstitions?
I try not to be superstitious.
