SALT LAKE CITY - A pair of the Utah softball team's Deseret First Duel Series games against BYU will be televised live on the MountainWest Sports Network (The Mtn.) and BYU-TV.
The Utes travel to Provo, Utah, for a Friday, April 9 game at Miller Park with first pitch at 6 p.m. MT. BYU-TV will provide the live telecast and The Mtn. will replay the game on Saturday, April 10 at 3 p.m.
Utah's lone home game in the series on Saturday, May 15 at 1 p.m. MT will be televised live on The Mtn. from Ute Softball Field.
The Mtn. is carried nationally by DIRECTV (Channel 616) and numerous cable operators representing over 200 municipalities in nine states.
The Utes are 7-3 after playing at the Red Desert Classic and the Louisville Slugger Desert Classic the first two weekends of the season. Utah is at the Cathedral City Classic this weekend. The Utes start the event tomorrow against Oregon at 3 p.m. PT.
