SALT LAKE CITY - University of Utah men's basketball coach Jim Boylen has honored the requests of junior Matt Read and sophomore Jordan Cyphers to be released from the team. Read and Cyphers each appeared in 16 games for the Utes. Read averaged 1.8 points per game while Cyphers contributed 2.9.
"I would like to thank Matt and Jordan for their hard work and contributions to this program," said Boylen. "They are good guys and good students and we wish them the best in their future endeavors."
