The Utes currently have six former players on minor league teams.
Chris Shelton is hitting .333 with the Round Rock Express, Triple-A affiliate of Houston. He has played in 25 games with 15 RBI and four home runs.
Ryan Khoury moved up to Triple-A this year in the Red Sox organization, playing with the Pawtucket Red Sox. He has played in nine games this year.
Stephen Fife, who is also in the Red Sox organization, is with the Double-A Portland Sea Dogs. In four starts this year, he has a 1-1 record with a 2.66 ERA and 12 strikeouts.
Jay Brossman is also in Double-A, playing with the Arkansas Travelers, affiliate of the Angels. He is hitting .134 in 19 games.
Brian Budrow has pitched in eight games in relief for the South Bend Silver Hawks, Class-A affiliate of Arizona. He has had a solid start to the year with a 2.13 ERA and 11 strikeouts.
Jesse Shriner is under contact with San Francisco. He is currently in extended spring training.
