This Week's Action...
The University of Utah women's soccer team (0-6-0) plays a pair of games this week as the Utes search for their first win of the 2010 campaign. They head to Ogden, Utah, on Thursday to take on in-state rival Weber State (0-4-0) at 3 p.m. MT. Utah then returns home to host Colorado College (2-1-1) on Sunday with a 12 p.m. MT kickoff at Ute Field.
The All-Time Series...
Utah and Weber State will meet for the 10th time Thursday. The Utes hold a 6-3-0 all-time record against the Wildcats, including a 3-1-0 mark in Ogden. In their last meeting, WSU topped Utah in Salt Lake City in 2009 by a score of 1-0, snapping the Utes' five-match win streak in the series.
The only previous match between Colorado College and Utah came in 1995, the first year of the Ute soccer program's existence. The Tigers defeated the Utes in Colorado Springs, Colo., by a 5-0 score.
