SALT LAKE CITY - The Utah baseball team continues its long road stretch with a three-game series against New Mexico, beginning on Friday, April 15, at 6:00 p.m. MT.
The Utes (13-13) are looking to get back on track after struggling in recent games. Utah dropped two of three San Diego State last weekend and a rough evening against Utah Valley on Tuesday, falling 12-4.
"We have to regroup and get back to playing good baseball," Utah head coach Bill Kinneberg said. "We have to get healthy, and we have to pitch better than we did last week."
Utah is slowly getting players back from injuries. Brock Duke returns this weekend following a hand injury - he is slated to start on Sunday.
New Mexico (10-24) has played a difficult schedule. Five of the Lobos 10 wins have come against MWC teams, including a three-game sweep of UNLV, and a win over nationally-ranked TCU. UNM dropped their last two games, a midweek series against Texas Tech.
