Utah to Face Salt Lake Bees in Exhibition Game

SALT LAKE CITY - The Utah baseball team will break from regular-season competition this week for an exhibition game with the AAA Salt Lake Bees on Tuesday, April 5, at 6:00 p.m.
Tuesday's game is the first-ever matchup between the two teams.
"This is a game that I have been working on since I have been here," said Utah head coach Bill Kinneberg. "Our players are really looking forward to it, and it should be a fun night and a great event."
Tickets to the game are $5 each and can be purchased at the Spring Mobile Ballpark box office. All proceeds will benefit Larry H. Miller Charities and the Utes Baseball Scholarship Fund. Gates will open at 5 p.m.
Utah will start freshman Ben Mordini on the mound, but fans should expect to see brief appearances from most of the pitching staff.
The Utes are currently 12-10 overall after splitting a pair of contests against UNLV over the weekend. Utah travels to San Diego State this coming weekend, beginning a three-game series with the Aztecs on Friday, April 8, at 6:00 p.m. PT.
