What is your favorite baseball memory?
Winning the 4A state championship senior year of high school.
What do you like to do when you are not playing baseball?
Camping, boating and golfing.
Do you have a nickname? How did you get your nickname?
Gonzo or Zo - Gonzo is short for Gonzales, Zo short for Gonzo.
Why did you choose Utah? What is the best thing about Utah?
I wanted to stay close to my family. Utah offers a good education.
My favorite thing about Salt Lake City is:
The diversity of activities it has to offer.
The teammate I most admire is who, and why?
Cody Guymon - he's a hard worker and he's not afraid to live how he believes.
What do you like best about Coach Kinneberg?
His passion and his desire to win.
What are your goals for this year?
To get better every day, hit .350 and steal 20 bases.
What are your pregame superstitions?
I put on my socks, sliders and pants in a certain order.
What is your major and what do you want to do after you graduate?
Economics major, and I want to continue my education.
