SALT LAKE CITY - The Utah baseball team closes out the regular season with four-straight home games, beginning with Utah Valley on Tuesday, May 17, at 6:00 p.m. The game will be aired live on ESPN 700 AM.

Utah is coming off a tough series against eighth-ranked TCU, winning game one in extra innings before falling in close losses in the final two games. It was the final regular-season conference series for the Utes, and they will finish the year second in the regular season conference standings. It is Utah's best conference finish since 2002, when the Utes also finished second in the MWC.
Utah and UVU have met three times already this year, with the Utes holding a 2-1 advantage in the series. Utah won 15-3 in Salt Lake City on March 29, while Utah Valley defeated the Utes 12-4 on April 12 in Orem. The Utes gained revenge for the loss on April 26 in Orem, with a 15-8 win. James Brooks tied the Utah record for hits in a game in the last meeting, going 6-for-6.
Ben Mordini will make his third start of the year on the mound. Utah Valley will throw Ty Hansen, who has four starts this year.
