Watkins Among Pac-12 Leaders in Scoring, Assists
Watkins is averaging 15.1 points per game, fifth-best in the Pac-12, including all games played. He has scored double figures in 10 of his 12 games this year and in 15 of his last 17, going back to last season. Watkins has scored double figures in 33 of 42 career games as a Ute and has eclipsed the 20-point plateau nine times, including a career-high 26 against Portland on Dec. 19.
Watkins has posted at least five assists in seven of his last eight games and is averaging 5.3 assists per game, second-best in the league. He has led or tied for the team lead in assists 11 times this season.
Farr Continues Upward Scoring Trend
Junior forward Dijon Farr has proven to be a solid and efficient scoring option over the last four games. Since scoring a career-high 16 points against Idaho State on Dec. 16 he has averaged 11.5 points and raised his season scoring average to 6.1 points per game.
Most recently, Farr scored seven points on 3-of-6 shooting at Colorado. Over the last four games, Farr has shot better than 54% from the field, knocking down 19-of-35 field goals, including 4-of-9 from 3-point range.
Prior to his career-high 16 points against ISU, Farr logged a career-best seven rebounds against BYU. He also posted a career-high four steals against Idaho State.
Farr is currently Utah's best 3-point threat among players with at least 10 attempts, shooting 42.9% for the season (6-of-14).
Washburn Among Top 10 in the Pac-12 in Rebounding
Coming off a team-high seven rebounds at Colorado, Washburn is now averaging 7.1 boards per contest, leading the Utes and ranking fifth in the Pac-12.
Washburn is well ahead of his career average of 3.8 rebounds per game and is just eight boards away from eclipsing the 100-rebound mark for the second time in his career. He is on pace to get his 100th rebound in the 14th game of the season, seven games faster than last year.
Head coach Larry Krystkowiak has stated that he would like Utah's big men to maintain a rebounding pace around one every four minutes. With 92 boards in 360 minutes this season, Washburn has been slightly better than that pace at one rebound every 3.91 minutes.
Washburn has scored double digits in nine of 13 games this season and ranks among the top 30 scorers in the Pac-12, coming in at No. 29 with 11.2 points per game.
Washburn is shooting a very efficient 60.4% from the floor for the season (55-of-91), highest on the team and third-best in the Pac-12. He is also knocking down 79.5% of his free throws (35-of-44), best on the squad and eighth in the Pac-12.
Utah vs. the Pac-12

Watkins and Storey Dish It Out
Watkins and freshman guard Kareem Storey have combined for 33 assists and only 18 turnovers over the last three games, an assist-to-turnover ratio of better than 1.8.
The two have combined for 93 assists on the season. Twice they have each posted five or more assists in the same game (vs. Idaho State and at Boise State).
The Utes at the Huntsman Center
Utah owns an all-time record of 529-128 (.805) all-time in its current home, the Jon M. Huntsman Center, including a 3-3 mark this season.
The Utes have posted a winning record at home in 38 consecutive seasons, beginning in 1973-74. In conference home games over the last 17 years, Utah is 104-22 (.825).
With 15,000 seats, the Huntsman Center is the largest arena in the Pac-12 (excluding temporary and tournament sites).
Head Coach Larry Krystkowiak
With the win against Idaho State on Friday, Krystkowiak picked up his third win as the Utes' head coach. For his NCAA coaching career, Krystkowiak is now 45-30 (.600) overall in his third year.
Krystkowiak (pronounced krist-KOH-vee-ak), who has prior head coaching experience in the NCAA, CBA and NBA, left a position as an assistant coach with the New Jersey Nets to become the 15th head coach in Utah men's basketball history.
In his previous collegiate head coaching post, Krystkowiak led his alma mater, the University of Montana, to a 42-20 record and two NCAA appearances as the Grizzlies' from 2004-06 before joining the NBA coaching ranks.
