LAS VEGAS - The University of Utah men's tennis team wrapped up play at the ITA Mountain Regional Championships Sunday at the Darling Tennis Center.
No. 37 second-seeded sophomore Slim Hamza captured a 6-3, 6-3 victory over 25th-seeded Moez Charqui of Nevada Reno in the final round to clinch the consolation singles championship title.
The Utes return to action at their final tournament of the fall at the ITA National Indoor Championships Thursday, Nov. 8 in Flushing Meadows, N.Y.
