With the spring season coming up before we know it, UtahUtes.com will introduce you to the new players on the team in 'Getting to Know.' Today's spotlight is junior Braden Anderson, a transfer from Salt Lake Community College.
What is your favorite baseball memory?
Witnessed a walk-off grand slam at an Angels game.
What is your favorite sport besides baseball?
Basketball.
What do you like to do when you are not playing baseball?
Exercise and eat.
Why did you choose Utah? What is the best thing about Utah?
Always been a Utah fan and wanted to represent the Utes by playing for them.
Who has been the biggest influence in your life and why?
My older brother, I've always tried to be like him.
What do you like best about Coach Kinneberg?
He knows how to communicate with me and keeps my emotions under control.
What are your goals for this year?
To help our team improve from last season.
What are your pregame superstitions?
I'm not superstitious.
What is your major and what do you want to do after you graduate?
Sports management - I want to train professional athletes.
