SALT LAKE CITY - The Utah baseball team looks to get back on track this weekend at UAB. The three-game series begins on Friday, March 2, at 1:30 p.m. CT.
Utah is 1-7 to start the season, dropping its last six games, and all four contests at the Kleberg Bank College Classic. The Utes showed fight in the final game of the tournament against host Texas A&M Corpus-Christi, with a ninth-inning rally falling short.
Individually, Parker Morin is off to a strong start, hitting .355. He has had at least one hit in each of Utah's first eight games.
UAB is 5-2 on the season. The Blazers are coming off a three-game sweep of Ball State. UAB has two games against Jacksonville State before playing the Utes over the weekend.
