The Utah baseball team has three former players currently playing in the minor leagues.
Stephen Fife is a starter with the Triple-A Albuquerque Isotopes in the Dodgers organization. He is 1-2 in three starts. Fife may be returning to Utah soon, as Albuquerque is scheduled to play the Salt Lake Bees from May 12-15.
C.J. Cron is hitting .282 with the Inland Empire 66ers of the Class-A California League in the Angels organization. He has three doubles and two home runs with 10 RBI.
Jordan Whatcott is with the Class-A Clearwater Threshers of the Florida State League, a Phillies affiliate. He has pitched in four games (seven innings) as a reliever and has not yet allowed a run. Whatcott has a 1-0 record.
