SALT LAKE CITY - The Utah baseball team plays its second of three scheduled games against in-state rival BYU on Tuesday, April 3, at 6:00 p.m., at home at Spring Mobile Ballpark.
Ben Mordini gets the start on the mound for Utah, while BYU will throw Cameron Keysor.
In their first meeting this season last week, the Utes fell to the Cougars, 9-8. BYU was helped by five Utah errors, while the Utes had one of their best offensive outputs of the season with 13 hits in the contest.
"It's another chance for us to play at home and work on getting better," Utah head coach Bill Kinneberg said. "We lost a tough game to them last week, and hopefully we'll make the little things work on Tuesday as we also prepare for our weekend games against a tough Arizona team."
The contest is worth three points in the Deseret First Duel rivalry series.
Utah takes on the Wildcats this weekend, with a three-game series beginning on Thursday, April 5. Arizona is ranked fourth in the latest Baseball America poll.
