Utah offensive lineman Tony Bergstrom was chosen by the Oakland Raiders in the third round of the 2012 NFL Draft as the 95th overall pick. Bergstrom becomes the third Ute offensive lineman drafted in the last three years. Zane Beadles was a second-round draft pick by Denver in 2010, where he is a two-year starter. Caleb Schlauderaff, a sixth-round draft pick by Green Bay in 2011, now plays for the New York Jets.
Bergstrom (6-6, 315), a first-team all-Pac-12 offensive lineman last season, was a three-year starting right tackle for the Utes. He played in 48 games with 39 career starts. Bergstrom was invited to and played in the 2012 Senior Bowl.
