After outlasting Utah Valley on Tuesday, the University of Utah softball team returns to the state of California for the Mayfair Classic on an eight-game unbeaten streak.
The Mayfair Classic signals the start of Utah's week-long road trip, beginning with a doubleheader in Fullerton, Calif., on Saturday as the Utes get a re-match with Idaho State at 11:30 a.m. PT, before taking on the host Titans at 2 p.m. PT.
The Utes conclude the event with another doubleheader on Sunday in Long Beach, Calif., starting against South Alabama at 11:15 a.m. PT and will conclude against Bethune-Cookman at 1:30 p.m. PT.
Utah Valley Review: Utah extended its unbeaten streak to eight games after outlasting Utah Valley, 4-2, in 10 innings Tuesday in Orem, Utah.
After the win, Utah has gone 7-0-1 in its last eight outings and managed to knock out 10 hits off Wolverine pitching.
