SALT LAKE CITY - The Utah baseball team travels to Orem on Tuesday, April 16, to face Utah Valley for the second time this season. First pitch is at 6:00 p.m. MT.
The Utes (14-17, 4-11 Pac-12) will start Trey Nielsen on the mound.
In the first game this season against Utah Valley back on March 19, the Utes won 3-2 in 11 innings. Tyler Relf hit a one-out triple in the bottom of the 11th, setting up TJ Bennett's walk-off single for the game-winning run.
"Another Tuesday game that we'll use to get guys more innings and work on our offense," Utah head coach Bill Kinneberg said. "Getting Trey some innings on the mound is important."
The Utes return home this weekend for a three-game series against USC, beginning on Friday, April 19, at 6:00 p.m. MT.
