WALNUT CREEK, Calif. - Utah's Delon Wright has been named Pac-12 Men's Basketball Player of the Week for play from Jan. 13-19, the conference office announced today.
In the win over USC, Wright led the way with 22 points, six rebounds, six steals and five assists. He followed that performance with 12 points, eight rebounds and six assists against the nationally-ranked Bruins.
Wright leads the league in field-goal percentage at 63.5 percent and also ranks among the top 15 in scoring (6th), rebounds (12th), assists (5th), steals (1st) and blocks (4th).
Wright joins Jordan Loveridge as Player of the Week selections this year for Utah, its first winners since joining the Pac-12 Conference in 2011.
The Utes are on the road this week with games at Arizona State on Thursday (7 p.m.) and No. 1 Arizona on Sunday (6 p.m.)
