SALT LAKE CITY - The University of Utah men's basketball team has added Eris Winder for the 2014-15 season.
"Eris is a welcome addition to our team for the upcoming season," head coach Larry Krystkowiak said. "He brings a competitive spirit along with a hard-working attitude and exemplifies what we look for in a student-athlete here at Utah."
Winder, a 6-1 point guard from Las Vegas spent this past year as a member of the Elev8 Sports Institute post graduate roster.
A McDonalds All-American nominee after his senior season at Palo Verde High School, Winder averaged 17.3 points, 5.8 assists, 3.3 rebounds and 2.5 steals.
A lead guard with long arms, quickness, and the ability to score, Winder joins a deep and talented Ute backcourt.
