SAN FRANCISCO - Utah head men's basketball coach Larry Krystkowiak and senior guard Brandon Taylor attended the 2015 Pac-12 Men's Basketball Media Day at the Pac-12 Network Office and Studio in San Francisco on Thursday, Oct. 14.

Live coverage of the event will run from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. PT / 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. MT with exposure provided on all seven Pac-12 Networks channels, Pac-12.com and the Pac-12 Now app. Mike Yam will host the event and he will be joined alongside analysts Don MacLean, Kevin O'Neill, Lamar Hurd and Steve Lavin.
KYRSTKOWIAK ENTERS FIFTH SEASON AT UTAH
Larry Krystkowiak begins his fifth season at the helm of the Runnin' Utes Basketball program in 2015-16. Coming off a 26-9 campaign last season, Kyrstkowiak is now 68-64 overall in his four seasons at Utah. He is 110-84 overall in six seasons at the collegiate level, which includes two seasons at Montana (2004-06, 42-20).
NOTES ON TAYLOR
Brandon Taylor is one of three four-year seniors on the Runnin' Utes roster in 2015-16. The Los Angeles native is coming off a great junior season, where he averaged 10.6 points-per-game, shot 44.5 percent from the field and a highly efficiient 43.9 percent shooting from the three-point line - which ranked third in the Pac-12 Conference. His 2.34 three-pointers made-per-game ranked fourth in the Pac-12 and he also dished out 3.34 assists-per-game, which ranked 11th in the league. Defensively, Taylor ranked 10th in the Pac-12 with 1.29 steals per game.
Taylor went on to earn All-Pac-12 Second Team honors and the Los Angeles native was also named a Pac-12 All-Defensive Team Honorable Mention selection. Also known as a great student in the classroom, Taylor was tabbed a Pac-12 All-Academic First Team selection.
JON M. & KAREN HUNTSMAN BASKETBALL FACILITY OPENS
The brand new men's and women's basketball facility officially opened its doors following a Grand Opening ceremony on Thursday, Oct. 1.
Construction on the 101,000-square foot, four-story Jon M. & Karen Huntsman Basketball Facility began on May 5, 2014. The Ute men's and women's basketball teams moved in during the first week of October and both squads began regular team practices that same week.
