Utah seniors Brock Duke and Biss Larsen will be recognized on Saturday as part of `Senior Day' and Ty Burrell of Modern Family will be throwing out the first pitch. The Utes will hold `Fan Appreciation Day' on Sunday featuring a variety of promotional giveaways. Sunday is also `Salute America' day, honoring all service men and women (including military, police, fire and other emergency services personnel) with free admission with proper ID.

Utah (16-30-1, 7-16-1 Pac-12) recently played three games against No. 22 Oregon State, dropping the first two games of the series before game three ended in a 2-2 tie after 15 innings due to Utah's travel schedule. The Utes had strong pitching all weekend, which included 8 1/3 scoreless innings of relief in game three from Duke, but struggled on offense. Less than 10 runs were scored during the entire series between both teams. Utah has only had one other tie since 1963, a 3-3 tie against Point Loma in 1997. The Utes dropped a 16-6 contest against BYU on Tuesday.
Utah is second in the Pac-12 in stolen bases (69) and leads the league batters hit by pitch (71).
Oregon (30-22, 11-13 Pac-12) won two of three against Washington State last weekend. The Ducks play the second of a two-game set against Gonzaga on Wednesday before traveling to Salt Lake City.
