SAN FRANCISCO - Eight Utah baseball players have been named to the 2015 Pac-12 Baseball All-Academic teams, led by sophomore first-team selection Josh Rose.
Rose has a 3.60 grade point average and will declare a major in the fall. Named to the second team was junior Bret Helton and senior Biss Larsen. Helton has a 3.40 grade point average with a major in business administration and Larsen, an entrepreneurship major, has a 3.33 grade point average. Larsen and Helton were both honorable mention selections last year.
Honorable mention selections were sophomore Dallas Carroll, junior Dalton Carroll, sophomore Dylan Drachler, sophomore Hunter Rodriguez and sophomore Max Schuman. Dalton Carroll is a two-time honorable mention all-academic selection.
To be eligible for selection to the all-academic team, a student-athlete must have a minimum 3.0 overall grade point average and be either a starter or significant contributor.
