Toronto Summer League Roster
SALT LAKE CITY - Utah's Dallin Bachynski has signed a summer league contract with the NBA's Toronto Raptors.
An honorable Mention All-Academic Pac-12 selection, Bachynski played in 91 games over three years with the Utes. This past season, he appeared in all but one contest for Utah, shooting 53 percent from the field and scoring in double figures three times, including an 11-point effort against the No. 3 selection in the 2015 NBA Draft, Jahlil Okafor, and Duke in the Sweet 16.
As a junior, Bachynski shot 62 percent from the floor, the fourth-highest single-season mark in Utah history. He also finished 13th in the Pac-12 with 1.00 blocked shots per game. Prior to Utah, Bachynski appeared in 29 games at Southern Utah University.
The Raptors announced their entire 15-man roster for the 2015 Samsung NBA Summer League in Las Vegas. Bachynski will be reunited with Toronto's first-round draft pick and former Ute Delon Wright, as well as current Raptors Bruno Caboclo and Lucas Nogueira. Assistant coaches Jesse Mermuys and Jama Mahlalela will serve as the team's coaches.
Twenty-four teams will participate in a tournament-style format to crown this year's NBA Summer League champion. Teams will compete in three preliminary round games from July 10-14, before being seeded in a tournament running through the championship game July 20. Each team is guaranteed to play at least five games.
This year marks Toronto's eighth appearance at NBA Summer League in Las Vegas. The Raptors open the preliminary round Friday, July 10 versus the reigning Summer League champion Sacramento Kings at Thomas & Mack Center (3 p.m. PT).
