Utah Softball Fall Schedule
SALT LAKE CITY - Coming off a successful 2015 season, Utah softball looks forward to 2016 as they announced its fall schedule.
Utah will open the fall season on Wednesday, Sept. 16, against Salt Lake Community College at Dumke Family Softball Stadium with a first pitch scheduled for 4 p.m. (MT). The Utes will then have five more home contests before capping the slate with the two-day Red and White scrimmages on Oct. 12-13
Utah's home fall schedule will include contests with Utah Valley (Sept. 24), a doubleheader with Colorado State (Sept. 26), and single games against Idaho State (Oct. 2) and Weber State (Oct. 8)
The Utes hit the road just once, Sept. 19, to play a pair of games in St. George against Southern Utah and Dixie State.
Utah reached the NCAA Tournament last season behind Pac-12 Coach of the Year Amy Hogue and eight All Pac-12 performers, seven of which return this season. Senior Kristen Stewart, junior Hannah Flippen and sophomore Katie Donovan were also NFCA All-Region selections.
