GOING STREAKING
Following a home loss to Oregon back on Jan. 14, the Utes have quietly won four straight games since then and are just one win away from tying the program's best conference winning streak since joining the league in 2011. Utah won a program-best five straight Pac-12 games from Feb. 1-15 last season after picking up victories against USC, Colorado, Stanford, Cal and Oregon State.

Utah heads into the weekend currently leading the Pac-12 in scoring defense, giving up just 66.9 points per game to opponents through its first eight league games.
OFFENSIVE PRODUCTION
Utah had three players score 15 points or more in Wednesday's win over California, as Jakob Poeltl led the way with 21 points, and both Brandon Taylor and Kyle Kuzma notched 15 points each.
It was the fifth time this season that at least three players have score 15 points or more, but it was the first time since Feb. 6, 2014, that three players did so in a league game.
Since joining the Pac-12 in 2011, the Utes have had three players score 15 points or more in the same in game on six different occasions.
POELTL'S BACK-TO-BACK 20-POINT EFFORTS
Sophomore Jakob Poeltl scored 20-points or more for the second straight game on Wednesday, finishing the evening with 21 points. He tallied 29 point at Washington on Sunday.
Poeltl scored 20-plus points in back-to-back games for the second time this season, after also doing the feat back on Dec. 2 against BYU (26) and on Dec. 5 against IPFW (21). Poeltl, who scored 20 points or more just once last season, has not scored 20 points or more in three straight games.
TAYLOR'S TURNOVER FREE NIGHT
Along with his 15 points for the Utes on Wednesday, senior Brandon Taylor dished out a team-high six assists and did not have a single turnover in the game.
Taylor has not committed a turnover in three games this season and it was the 12th game without a turnover over the past two seasons.
POELTL NOW A THREE-TIME PAC-12 POW
Sophomore Jakob Poeltl was named the Pac-12 Player of the Week for the third time this season after earning the honor earlier this week. Along with Monday's honor, he was also tabbed the POW back on Nov. 23 and Dec. 21.
Poeltl became the first player in school history to be named a Pac-12 POW three times in a career. He also becomes the first Ute player to record at least three player of the week honors in the same season since 2008-09 when Luke Nevill was a five-time conference player of the week honoree when Utah was a member of the Mountain West Conference.
POELTL TABBED NATIONAL WEEKLY AWARD WINNER
In addition to his Pac-12 Player of the Week honor, Jakob Poeltl was also named the Oscar Robertson National Player of the Week for games ending the week of Sunday, Jan. 24.
Poeltl becomes the first player from the Pac-12 to receive the award since Dec. 2012 (Shabazz Muhammad, UCLA) and is just the fourth Pac-12 player to earn the award since its creation in 2009. He is the first-ever Utah player to earn the national honor.
