The Utah Runnin' Utes (4-0, 0-0) host the Butler Bulldogs (6-0, 0-0) this Monday, Nov. 28, at the Huntsman Center in Salt Lake City. Tip-off between the Utes and Bulldogs is set for 7 p.m. MT.

ABOUT UTAH
Utah picked up an 85-67 non-conference win over UC Riverside at the Huntsman Center this past Friday.
The Utes shot .507 percent (35-of-69) from the field and were led by
Lorenzo Bonam's game-high 21 points, while
Kyle Kuzma chipped in with 18 points for the Utes. Bonam registered his first career double-double, adding 10 rebounds, while
Devon Daniels posted a double-double with 14 points and game-high 11 rebounds.
Utah out-scored the Highlanders 56-24 in the paint and collected 20 second chance-points to UCR's nine points.
ABOUT BUTLER
The Bulldogs are coming off a 69-65 win over No. 8-ranked Arizona to capture the Continental Tire Las Vegas Invitational crown this past weekend. Butler opened with wins at home against Bucknell and Norfolk State before downing Vanderbilt in the semifinals.
Butler is 6-0 on the season with four wins coming at home and a pair of neutral site victories. Monday's contest will mark Butler's first true road game of the season.
The Bulldogs average 80.2 points per game and give up just 61.0 points to opposing squads. They are shooting 50 percent from the field, 38.5 percent from beyond the arc and 70.4 percent from the free throw line.
Butler has four players averaging double figures, led by Kelan Martin's 16.2 points per game average. Andrew Chrabascz (10.5 ppg), Kamar Baldwin (10.0 ppg) and Avery Woodson (10.0 ppg) follow. Chrabascz leads the team on the boards with 5.8 rebounds per contest, while Tyler Lewis has dished out a team-high 32 assists on the season. Baldwin leads the team with 12 steals.
SERIES HISTORY
Utah and Butler meet for just the third time on Monday and the all-time series is square at one win apiece. The Utes won the first-ever meeting with a 95-66 victory over the Bulldogs in Salt Lake City back in 1964. Butler won the last meeting between the two teams with a 74-62 win over the Utes in the Diamond Head Classic back in 2010.
KRYSTKOWIAK EYES WIN NO. 100
Utah head coach
Larry Krystkowiak is one win shy from win No. 100 with the Utes. In his six seasons at the helm of the Utah men's basketball program, Krystkowiak has notched a record of 99-73.
Krystkowiak is 141-93 all-time, which includes a 42-20 coaching record in two seasons at Montana (2004-06).
DOUBLE-DOUBLES FOR BONAM AND DANIELS

Lorenzo Bonam and freshman
Devon Daniels notched their first career double-doubles in Utah's 85-67 win over UC Riverside this past Friday.
Bonam scored 21 points and pulled down 10 rebounds - both career-highs for the second-year player - while, Daniels poured in 14 points with 11 rebounds.
It was the first time Utah had multiple players record a double-double in a game since
Jakob Poeltl tallied 29 points/11 rebounds and
Jordan Loveridge posted 12 points/10 rebounds against California in the Pac-12 Tournament semifinals (3/11/16).
DOUBLE DOWN
Utah has had at least three players score in double figures in all four games this season. The Utes had a season-high six players post 10 points or more in a win over Concordia, while having four players pour in double-digit efforts against both Coppin State and UC Riverside. The Utes had three players score in double figures in the season-opener against Northwest Nazarene.
LEADING THE NATION
Utah leads the nation in five different NCAA statistical categories, which includes defensive rebounding (40.25/game), total rebounds (53.75/game), rebound margin (+20.3), scoring margin (+37.0) and field goal percentage-defense (.277).
The Utes rank second nationally in scoring defense, having given up just 52.0 points per game to opposing teams.
JOHNSON REGISTERS FIRST 10+ SCORING EFFORT

Jayce Johnson tallied his first double-digit scoring effort of his career, pouring in 12 points on 5-of-7 shooting from the field and a 2-of-4 effort from the free throw line against UC Riverside this past Friday. Johnson is averaging 6.3 points per game and ranks second on the team with 9.3 rebounds.
KUZMA SEEING DOUBLE
Junior
Kyle Kuzma heads into the week averaging a double-double for the season with a team-best 15.5 points per game and 10.0 rebounds per game average. Kuzma is coming off an 18-point scoring effort in Utah's win over UC Riverside.
ZAMORA SHINES IN WIN OVER COPPIN STATE

JoJo Zamora did it all for the Utes in Utah's 94-51 win over the Eagles last Friday night. Zamora paced Utah's offense with a game-high 22 points, while connecting on 6-of-12 from the field, 3-of-6 from downtown and 7-of-9 from the charity stripe.
Zamora registered three rebounds, dished out two assists and tallied a pair of steals in the win as well. He heads into the week ranked third on the team with a 13.3 points per game average. He leads all Utah players with five assists on the young season.
CLAMPING DOWN ON DEFENSE
Utah limited NNU (Nov. 12) to under 17 percent shooting on the night, which included giving up just four field goals and a 11.8 percent effort from the Crusaders in the second half. Utah allowed just 17 points to NNU in the second half.
Utah limited the Crusaders to just 37 points in the game, tying the third-fewest points given up to an opponent since 1980. It is the lowest amount of points given up since yielding just 36 points to Air Force back on Jan. 14, 2009.
LEAGUE ANNOUNCES PRESEASON POLL
The Runnin' Utes were picked to finish eighth in the 2016-17 Pac-12 men's basketball preseason poll, the league office announced back on Oct. 21. Voted on by 27 different media members that cover the league, Utah garnered 142 points in the poll.
For the first time in league history, Oregon was chosen to win the league after receiving 23 first-place votes for a total of 320 points. Arizona received four first-place nods and 298 points for second, while UCLA (259 points), California (209 points) and Colorado (199 points) rounded out the top five. Washington (167 points) and USC (163 points) came in just ahead of the Utes in sixth and seventh place, respectively, while Oregon State (122 points), Stanford (119 points), Arizona State (78 points) and Washington State (30 points) rounded out the entire poll.
RUNNIN' UTES TO PARTICIPATE IN BEEHIVE CLASSIC
Larry H. Miller Sports & Entertainment has partnered with Utah, BYU, Utah State and Weber State to form a new men's college basketball showcase at Vivint Smart Home Arena, beginning in 2017.
The Beehive Classic, with Zions Bank as the title sponsor, will feature single-day, round-robin doubleheaders from 2017-19. Utah will open the classic against Utah State in 2017, followed with games against BYU in 2018 and Weber State in 2019.
BONAM TOURS AUSTRALIA WITH PAC-12 ALL-STARS
Utah's
Lorenzo Bonam was one of 12 Pac-12 student-athletes named to the Pac-12 Conference Men's Basketball All-Star Team that toured Australia for a series of cultural experiences and exhibition games against the Australia Men's National Team this past July.
Bonam and the Pac-12 All-Stars participated in two games against the Australia Men's National Team, as well as a third contest against a team from the South East Australian Basketball League (SEABL).
Bonam scored 16 points and tallied a pair of assists in the squad's scrimmage against the SEABL. He then followed with 12 points, three rebounds and an assist in the squad's first contest against Australia. Bonam then closed out the final game against Australia with nine points, two rebounds and three assists.
UP NEXT
Utah returns to the court this Thursday, Dec. 1, to close out a three-game swing that spanned over the last seven days. Utah will host Montana State with a tip-off set for p.m. inside the Huntsman Center.
The Utes will then close out its seven-game home swing against Utah Valley next Tuesday, Dec. 6.
