THE GAME
The Utah Runnin' Utes (17-6, 6-4) close out the week with a road contest against the Pac-12-leading and. No. 16/17-ranked Oregon Ducks (19-4, 8-2) this Sunday, Feb. 7, in Eugene, Ore.
The Utes and Ducks will tip-off from Matthew Knight Arena at 1 p.m. PST / 2 p.m. MST.

LAST TIME OUT
Utah dropped a 71-69 decision to Oregon State at Gill Coliseum on Thursday. The loss snapped Utah's five-game win streak and a three-game road winning streak.
With the loss, the Utes and Beavers split the season series after Utah picked up the win in Salt Lake City back in January.
Sophomore Jakob Poeltl posted a team-high 20 points and nine rebounds, while sophomore Kyle Kuzma added 17 points for the Utes.
Utah shot 51 percent from the field, 33 percent from beyond the arc and 83 percent from the charity stripe, while giving up 47.5 percent from the field to the Beavers.
Both teams notched 29 rebounds each, but OSU dished out four more assists (16-12) and recorded three fewer turnovers (9-12).
UTAH IN PAC-12 PLAY
Now in its fifth season of Pac-12 play, the Utes are 36-46 overall against conference foes. Utah tallied its best record in the league play after posting a 13-5 record in 2014-15.
Utah is 25-15 all-time in Pac-12 games played at home and 11-31 in conference games played on the road.
POELTL NAMED ABDUL-JABBAR AWARD FINALIST
Sophomore forward Jakob Poeltl was named one of 10 finalist for the Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Center of the Year Award on Friday.
Poeltl is one of three finalist from the Pac-12 (Josh Scott, Colorado; Josh Hawkinson, Washington State) and one of five players from the West (Domantas Sabonis, Gonzaga and Joel Bolomboy, Weber State).
Poeltl currently leads the Utes in scoring with 17.4 points per game and rebounding with 8.9 boards per contest. The Vienna, Austria native is coming off his fourth-consecutive 20-point game following a 20-point and nine-rebound effort against Oregon State last night.
On the seaosn, Poeltl has tallied double-digit scoring efforts in 20 of 23 games, which includes eight games with 20 points or more, and has led the team in rebounding in all but five games on the year.
POELTL ON POINT
Sophomore Jakob Poeltl notched his fourth straight 20-point game and eighth of the season with 20 points against Oregon State on Thursday. Poeltl is the first Utah player to score 20 points or more in four straight games since Luke Nevill did so back in 2006-07.
LOVERIDGE JOINS 1,400 POINT CLUB
Senior Jordan Loveridge notched his 1,400th career point with a second-half three-pointer against the Beavers on Thursday, becoming just the 20th player in school history to join the 1,400-point club.
Loveridge heads into Sunday's contest at Oregon with 1,408 career points. He currently ranks 19th all-time in school history for most points scored in a career.
KUZMA'S HOT START
Sophomore Kyle Kuzma scored Utah's first six points against Oregon State on Thursday and went on to total 12 points in the first half. It was the second-best first-half for Kuzma, who tallied a career-best 13 points in the first half against Idaho State back on Nov. 27 at the Huntsman Center.
Kuzma finished the game with 17 points on 7-of-13 shooting and a 3-of-4 effort from the free throw line.
Kuzma has notched double-digit scoring efforts in four straight games for the Utes and in 14 games overall this season. He recorded a season-best five straight games with 10 points or more earlier in the season.
TAYLOR'S START STREAK
Senior Brandon Taylor will make his 105th consecutive start on Sunday at Oregon. The Los Angeles native got his first career start back on Feb. 2, 2012 against Colorado and has not missed a start (nor a game) since then.
Taylor would go onto start all 33 games during his sophomore season in 2013-14 and followed up with 35 straight starts his junior season last year. He has started in all 23 games for the Utes this season.
RECORD-SETTING POINTS IN PAC-12 PLAY
Utah set a school record for most points scored in a Pac-12 Conference game with its 96-point effort against Stanford.
Utah, who recorded its first 90-point game against a Pac-12 team back on Jan. 21 (Washington State, 92-71), has two conference games with 90-plus points for the first time since 2008-09 when Utah was a member of the Mountain West Conference (91-67 vs. Wyoming, 1/3/09; 94-88 vs. BYU, 1/27/09).
NOT GETTING PERSONAL
Utah heads into Sunday's contest as one of the best teams in the nation when it comes to giving up personal fouls. The Utes rank first in the Pac-12 and 11th in the nation, committing just 15.9 fouls per game.
The Utes, who committed just 13 personal fouls against Oregon State on Thursday, have posted 13 fouls or less in 14 games this season.

UP NEXT
The Utes return home to the friendly confines of the Jon M. Huntsman Center next week to host both Washington schools. Utah will take on the Washington Huskies next Wednesday, Feb. 10, before closing out the week against the Washington State Cougars on Sunday, Feb. 14.
Utah will then take its final regular-season road trip on the year the following week, taking on UCLA (Feb. 18) and USC (Feb. 21).
