SALT LAKE CITY - The Utah baseball team plays its first Pac-12 home games this season with a three-game series against Arizona, April 1-3, at Smith's Ballpark.

The series begins on Friday, April 1, at 6:00 p.m. MT and continues on Saturday, April 2, at 4:00 p.m. MT. The teams play the final game of the series on Sunday, April 3, at 1:00 p.m. MT.
Fans wearing black on Friday will receive free admission as part of Utah's Black Friday promotion. Saturday is the annual 'Ute Proud game and the first 250 fans will receive stick flags.

Utah (7-14, 4-2 Pac-12) has won back-to-back Pac-12 series, winning two out of three against both Oregon and Arizona State. The Utes are coming off a 7-6 loss to Utah Valley in a midweek contest. Dallas Carroll went 4-for-5 at the plate to lead Utah.
The Utes are tied for the league lead with 23 double plays. Utah pitchers have surrendered just eight home runs, tied for third-fewest in the Pac-12. Jayson Rose is second in the Pac-12 with 45 strikeouts. Kody Davis is tied for third in the Pac-12 with six stolen bases.
Arizona is 17-8 on the season and 3-3 in the Pac-12. The Wildcats split a midweek series against UC Riverside and took two of three from UCLA last weekend. Arizona is second in the Pac-12 in batting average.
