SAN FRANCISCO - The bracket for the 2016 Pac-12 Men's Basketball Championship Tournament presented by New York Life has been set, the league office announced late Saturday evening. The Pac-12 Men's Basketball Tournament takes place Wednesday-Saturday, March 9-12, at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nev.
No. 13/13 Utah (24-7, 13-5) is the No. 2 seed in the tournament and will receive a first round bye in Wednesday's opening round of the tournament. The Utes will face the winner of No. 7 seed USC (20-11, 9-9) and No. 10 seed UCLA (15-16, 6-12) on Thursday, March 10. Tip-off for the contest is set for 6:15 p.m. PT (7:15 p.m. MT) and the game will be televised on the Pac-12 Networks.
Should Utah win its quarterfinal round game, the Utes would advance to play in the semifinal round on Friday, March 11 at 8:45 p.m. PT on FOX Sports 1. The championship game is slated for Saturday, March 12 at 7:15 p.m. PT on FOX Sports 1.
The Pac-12 Networks will air eight games of the Tournament, including the first seven games, starting with first round action on Wednesday, March 9. Game times are 12:10 p.m. PT, 2:40 p.m. PT, 6:10 p.m. PT, and 8:40 p.m. PT.
The Pac-12 Networks will carry the first three quarterfinal games on Thursday, March 10 at 12:10 p.m. PT, 2:40 p.m. PT, and 6:10 p.m. PT. FOX Sports 1 will air the last quarterfinal that evening at 8:45 p.m. PT.
Semifinal action on Friday, March 11 tips off at 6:10 p.m. (P12N) and 8:45 p.m. (FS1). The Pac-12 Championship will air on FS1 on Saturday, March 12 at 7:15 p.m.
