SALT LAKE CITY - The Utah baseball team plays its final non-conference game of the regular season on Tuesday, May 17, hosting in-state rival BYU at 7:00 p.m.
The game will be televised on the Pac-12 Networks with Roxy Bernstein and Andy Lopez calling the action.
The Utes are 0-2 against BYU this year, falling 6-0 in game one on March 15 and 14-3 in game two on April 12, both in Provo.
The three games against BYU accounts for three total points in the Deseret First Duel rivalry series between Utah and BYU.
Utah (20-25, 15-9 Pac-12) is coming off its sixth Pac-12 series win of the season (Oregon, Arizona State, Arizona, UCLA, Washington State, Stanford) and leads the Pac-12 standings. The race is tight, with the Utes holding a one-game lead over Washington (14-10) and a 1.5 game lead over Arizona (15-12).
Utah had previously had won just seven conference games in a year since joining the league in 2012 and had won just three Pac-12 series total in its first four years.

Kody Davis and DaShawn Keirsey, Jr. are tied for sixth in the league with nine stolen bases.
On the mound, Jayson Rose leads the league with 90 strikeouts and is nearing the school record of 102 strikeouts. He is tied for fifth in earned run average (2.48) and is holding opponents to a .204 batting average, which ranks sixth in the Pac-12. Rose's seven wins is tied for fourth in the league. The Utes lead the league with 14 pickoffs with Josh Lapiana recording a Pac-12 high six picks. Dylan Drachler is tied for fourth in the league with eight saves. Pitchers have allowed just 18 home runs, which is tied for the third-fewest allowed.
