SALT LAKE CITY - The Utah baseball team will travel to Oxford, Mississippi, to face Ole Miss in the first round of the NCAA Division I Baseball Championship on Friday, June 3, at 7:00 p.m. CT. The game will be streamed on ESPN3.
Also in the regional bracket is No. 2 seed Tulane and No. 3 seed Boston College. The Utes are a four seed in the regional.
The Utes earned the Pac-12's automatic bid to the championship by winning their first Pac-12 Championship since joining the league in 2011-12. Utah is making its second NCAA appearance since 1960. The Utes last reached the NCAA Tournament in 2009 after winning the Mountain West Conference Tournament. Utah went 2-2 in the Fullerton regional that year, defeating Gonzaga and Georgia Southern.
The Oxford regional pairs with the Miami regional, with the winners facing each other in a three-game super regional series.
