SALT LAKE CITY – University of Utah head men's basketball coach announced that
Chris Seeley has joined the roster for the 2016-17 season.
Â
"Chris is a very athletic and high energy player who has made some great strides this past year," said Krystkowiak. "He is eager to be coached and I feel his best is yet to come, both athletically and academically."
Â
Seeley, a 6-8 forward out of Fresno, Calif., averaged 16.1 points and 2.1 rebounds per game in his senior season at Central High School. He scored more than 450 points and shot better than 66-percent from the field while helping lead his squad to a 22-7 overall record.
Â
This past summer he averaged just under 10 points per game while playing AAU basketball with Splash City. He also managed to pull down more than six rebounds per contest.
Â
Seeley rounds out a group of new additions that were added to the roster this summer, which includes
Tim Coleman (Lee College) and
Jakub Jokl (Canarias Basketball Academy).
