Impressions form the Utah Players ...
Freshman Running Back Zack Moss
• Needs to step up his game in practice since being elevated to the starter on this week's depth chart.
• Focusing on just being himself.
• Wants to run harder and take as many mental reps as possible.
Senior Cornerback Reggie Porter
• Had a good performance against BYU, but the important thing is that he does it again this week at San Jose State.
• He wants to practice well and make sure it carries over to the field.
• Being the team MVP for the BYU game was a cool honor.
• Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Week Sunia Tauteoli had a great game against BYU.
Senior center J.J. Dielman
• Coaches and teammates have helped him transition from tackle to center.
• The best advice he can give for young players is to respect the process.
• Realizes the importance of having support from his parents.
Senior Wide Receiver Tim Patrick
• Turnovers stopped the offense too many times against BYU.
• The 11:21 fourth-quarter scoring drive is what they can do when they hold onto the ball.
#UTAHvsSJSU
• Conditioning drills for the Utes were held in the Eccles Fieldhouse.
