SALT LAKE CITY - Utah Soccer has announced the addition of Liz Bogus as an assistant coach. With 12 years of professional soccer on her resume, the two-time NWSL winner and USL W-League champion, brings experience and success to the Ute program.
Â
"I am really excited to have the opportunity to work with Coach {Rich} Manning and the Utes," Bogus said. "This is great chance to learn and grow while working with a team that is coming of an exceptional season."
"I've known Liz for many years and she brings so many great qualities to our team," Manning added. "Our players are familiar with her as she has worked camps and trained with some of them during the summer. She is hard-working, passionate and focused on the details of the game. Â
Liz is one of the most accomplished players to ever come out of Utah. Her experiences and success at the professional level will be a great resource for our players. Â We're pleased that she can join the team while Gabe Smart is out on maternity leave."
