KICKOFF
Utah Soccer travels to No. 1 UCLA for a primetime showdown with the Bruins on Thursday at 8 p.m. PT. The contest can be seen live on the Pac-12 Network and Pac-12.com.

QUICK KICKS
- This is the first week this season that Utah has not been ranked in the United Soccer Coaches Top 25 Poll
- Utah ranks fourth in the Pac-12 with 21 goals (1.62 per contest)
- Hailey Skolmoski paces the team with seven goals, ranking fourth in the Pac-12, and is tied for sixth in scoring with teammate Paola van der Veen (15 points).
- Van der Veen ranks fifth in the conference with six goals to her credit
- Skolmoski scored four goals and accrued nine points vs. North Dakota State to match Amy Kofoed's program marks set in 2001
- Skolmoski notched the 11th hat trick in Utah history and first since Lauren Field vs. Baylor in 2003.
- Utah matched the school record for goals in a match during its 9-0 victory over NDSU (Illinois State, 1996).
- The 11 assists and 29 points for the squad also surpassed the previous marks set during a 2001 contest vs. Wyoming.
- Haylee Cacciacarne leads Utah with five assists, which ranks ninth in the Pac-12

UTES SNAG NATIONAL ACADEMIC AWARD
Utah Soccer was honored with a Team Academic Award by the United Soccer Coaches. This award is for the 2016-17 academic year where the Utes posted the best GPA in the Pac-12 and ranked 19th nationally among Division 1 programs (3.62).

Last season, Katie Rogers was named an All-Region Scholar by the NSCAA (now the United Soccer Coaches) and Hailey Skolmoski was named Academic All-District by CoSIDA. Skolmoski joined July Mathias and Max Flom on the Pac-12 All-Academic First Team and nine other Utes were honored with accolades by the conference.

Utah has now earned 16 United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Awards, tied with Washington for the most of any Pac-12 school. The Utes have been honored every season since 2009, the third-longest streak of any Pac-12 team, trailing Arizona State and Washington State.

SERIES HISTORY
Utah is 2-5-1 all-time vs. the Bruins with a 1-4-0 record in Los Angeles. Last season, the Utes topped the No. 9 Bruins, 2-0 in Salt Lake City behind goals from Katie Rogers and Haile Skolmoski.

Since Utah joined the Pac-12, five of the six meetings between the teams has seen UCLA ranked in the top 10 nationally and this will be the fourth time the Bruins have been ranked in the top five

Utah's only win at UCLA occurred during the 2004 season when the Utes earned a 2-0 win over the No. 7 Bruins. That was Utah's last win on the road vs. a Top 10 foe
