KYRSTKOWIAK ENTERS SEVENTH SEASON AT UTAH
Larry Krystkowiak begins his seventh season at the helm of the Runnin' Utes Basketball program in 2017-18. Kyrstkowiak, who led the Utes to a 20-12 overall record, a 11-7 record and fourth-place finish in the Pac-12 Conference, along with a NIT appearance last season, is now 115-85 overall in his six seasons at Utah. He is 157-105 overall in eight seasons at the collegiate level, which includes two seasons at Montana (2004-06, 42-20).
NOTES ON COLLETTE
Collette enters his second season with the Runnin' Utes in 2017-18. A native of Murray, Utah, Collette returns as the team's leading scorer following a junior campaign where he tallied 13.6 points per game. His 13.2 points per game in Pac-12 play ranked 20
th among league players. In addition, he averaged .589 from the field in conference-only contests, which ranked fourth in the league. He totaled 5.1 rebounds per game and tallied a team-high 20 blocked shots on the year.
NOTES ON BIBBINS
Bibbins is in his first season with the Runnin' Utes after transferring to the U from Long Beach State, where he was a two-time all-Big West selection. This past year he averaged 13.1 points and 3.2 rebounds per game, while dishing out 152 assists and collecting 44 steals. His 4.6 assists per game ranked second in the Big West, while his .885 free throw percentage was tops in the league. He also managed to shoot .398 from the field, which included a .375 shooting percentage from beyond the three-point line.
