The Utah Runnin' Utes (5-1) return from an eight-day layoff of games hosting the Hawaii Rainbow Warriors (4-1) this Saturday Dec. 2. Tip-off between the Utes and Rainbow Warriors is set for 5 p.m. MT and the contest will be televised live on the Pac-12 Networks.

Saturday's contest will be televised live on the Pac-12 Networks with Daron Sutton calling the action and Matt Muehlebach providing color commentary.

LAST TIME OUT
The Utes rebounded from a loss in Las Vegas, coming back home to pick up a win over Eastern Washington, 85-69, this past Friday at the Huntsman Center.
Utah shot .517 percent from the field, converting 30-of-58 shots, and were .800 percent from the free throw line as they drained 16-of-20 from the charity stripe.

David Collette registered his first 20-point game of the season and his second career 20-point game as a Ute, pouring in a career-high 24 points against the Eagles. Collette was 11-of-12 from the field, 2-of-2 from the free throw line, pulled down five rebounds and recorded a blocked shot in the contest.

SCOUTING HAWAII
The Rainbow Warriors will be making its first road trip of the season after registering a 4-1 record to open the season, with all of its first five games coming at home. Just like Utah, Hawaii rebounded from a loss and picked up a victory in its last contest, an 87-77 win over Adams State.
Hawaii has three player averaging double figures and are led by Mike Thomas' 13.2 points per game. Thomas ranks second on the team with 6.2 rebounds per game, following only Jack Purchase's total of 6.8 boards per game. Purchase also leads the team with 23 assists and five blocked shots on the season.
The Rainbow Warriors are shooting .455 from the field, .267 from three-point range and .636 from the charity stripe. Hawaii averages 15.6 assists per game, which ranks first among teams from the Big West. The Rainbow Warriors are averaging 75.2 points per game, while giving up 71.8 points to opposing squads.
SERIES HISTORY
Utah holds a commanding lead in the all-time series, having won 48 of the 58 contests played, which dates back to 1954. The Utes have won 10 of the past 11 contests, which includes a 66-52 win over Hawaii last season in Honolulu. Utah's last loss was a 68-55 defeat to the Rainbow Warriors back on Dec. 23, 2010.

COLLETTE NOTCHES NEW CAREER-HIGH
Senior
David Collette poured in a career-high 24 points in Utah's last game against Eastern Washington, draining 11-of-12 from the field and draining both attempts from the free throw line.
Collette's previous career-high was a 22-point effort he registered against Washington State back on Feb. 9, 2017. His all-time career-high was a 32-point effort he recorded against USC as a freshman at Utah State back on Dec. 17, 2014.
RAWSON ON THE BLOCK
Senior
Tyler Rawson leads the Utes with 10 blocked shots on the season, which ranks fourth in the Pac-12 and among the top-100 players in the nation. His 1.67 blocks per game average ranks fifth in the league and also ranks among the top-100 in the country.
DOUBLE-DIGITS WITH TILLMAN
After going scoreless in his first career game as a Ute, freshman
Donnie Tillman has rattled off five straight games scoring in double figures. The Detroit native scored 10 points in Utah's win over Eastern Washington this past Friday and registered a season-high 14 points against UNLV last week.
Tillman also leads the team with two double-doubles on the season. He posted 11 points and 10 rebounds against Missouri and then tallied a 14-point and 11-rebound effort against UNLV.

The Utes head into the week ranking first in the Pac-12 and 33rd in the nation pulling down 29.83 defensive rebounds per game. Utah averages 39.67 total rebounds per game, which ranks fourth in the league.

UTAH'S SCORING DEFENSE
Utah leads the Pac-12 in scoring defense, limiting the opposition to just 66.7 points per game. The Utes have yielded 80 points or more to just one team on the year, when UNLV scored 85 points in the championship game of the MGM Resorts Main Event.
The Utes are one of four Pac-12 teams allowing opposing teams to score under 70 points per game: USC, 66.8; Colorado, 67.0; and Oregon 69.7.
