SALT LAKE CITY - The Utah baseball team enters the final three weekends of the season with a three-game series hosting USC with game one of the series beginning on Saturday, May 13, at 11:30 a.m.

The series continues on Sunday, May 14, at 7:00 p.m. MT and Monday, May 15, at 6:00 p.m. MT.

Utah continues its season-long player card promotion with
Trenton Stoltz and
Sam Mundt on Saturday,
Riley Ottesen on Sunday and
Riley Pierce on Monday. Saturday is Social Media Day and fans will be able to interact and win prizes via social media outlets. Sunday is Mother's Day and the first 100 moms will receive flowers.Â

Utah (21-21, 9-12 Pac-12) ranks third in the Pac-12 with a .288 batting average. The Utes are second in the league in runs scored (263), RBI (237) and on-base percentage (.377) while ranking third in hits (431) and tied for third in walks (182).

Dallas Carroll and
DaShawn Keirsey, Jr., are two of the best hitters in the league. Carroll ranks fourth in the league in batting average (.369), second in on-base percentage (.458) and is fourth in hits per game (1.48). Keirsey is tied for second in the conference in triples (five), third in hits per game (1.52) and ranks 11th in batting average (.337).

Jayson Rose is sixth in the Pac-12 with 67 strikeouts and is tied for fifth in the league with six wins. He recently set the Utah career record for strikeouts (241).
Riley Ottesen is tied for ninth in the league with 54 strikeouts.

USC is 19-25 overall and 6-15 in the Pac-12. The Trojans were recently swept by UCLA, but did pick up an extra-inning win over No. 1 Oregon State two weekends ago.
