Utah Softball travels to Seattle for the NCAA Super Regionals this Friday-Sunday. The Utes play Pac-12 Conference rival Washington on three straight nights for the right to play in the College World Series.

The Utes are 36-14 overall and finished fifth in the Pac-12 Conference with a record of 13-9. The 13 wins in conference play matched last year's program record

With 13 wins against teams ranked in the Top 25, including a series victory over No. 1 Arizona, a sweep of No. 10 UCLA in Westwood and shutouts of No. 13 Tennessee and No. 7 LSU, Utah is in the NCAA Tournament for a record third year in a row and 15th time overall.

The Utes have an all-time record of 24-32 in NCAA postseason play, including a 23-24 record in Regional Tournaments. Utah reached the AIAW CWS in 1976 and '82 and the NCAA CWS in 1985, '91 and '94. Its best finish was fifth place in 1994.

Last season, Utah won three of four games at the Lexington Regional to advance to Super Regionals for the first time since the expansion of the NCAA Tournament. The Utes were then beaten twice by No. 8 Florida State

- This senior class has eclipsed the 30-win mark during all four seasons, the first group to do that since 1998.

- Utah's high-water mark in the NFCA rankings this season, No. 10, occurred between April 18 and May 2

- Utah ranks 18th nationally in scoring at 5.9 runs per contest and team batting average (.318)

- Defensively, Utah leads the league and ranks second nationally with 32 double plays turned. The Utes were second in the nation last season with 41.

- The Utes are one of seven Pac-12 teams ranked among the top 25 nationally in the RPI, sitting at No. 19

- The five players selected to the first and second all-conference teams are the most for Utah since it joined the Pac-12. The Utes had three first and second-team selections the past two seasons.

REGIONAL RECAP
Utah Softball capped its biggest win in NCAA Tournament history on Saturday, blasting rival BYU 14-0 in six innings. It capped an amazing weekend as the Utes also hosted their first NCAA Regional at Dumke Family Softball Stadium.

Regional action started Thursday with an easy 10-0 victory over Atlantic 10 champions Fordham and continued Friday with a thrilling walk-off win against the Cougars courtesy of a pinch-hit single from
Hailey Hilburn.

Over the three games, Utah batted .442 and had four starters hit over .500.
Alyssa Barrera batted .625 and paced the squad with five runs scored while
Anissa Urtez hit .571 and drove in six.

Katie Donovan earned two victories, allowing just one hit in 5 1/3 innings of work.
Miranda Viramontes allowed only two runs in 10 innings and picked up the win in the regional final.
