Noah Burgarello is a shortstop from Glendale, Arizona. He has been a three-year letterman at Sandra Day O'Connor High School.

He helped lead his team to a state championship in 2018 by hitting .444 in the state tournament with a .625 OBP. He hit a 2-RBI double to secure the state championship.

Burgarello also gets it done in the classroom as he was named to the 6A Desert Region All-Academic Team. He plans on majoring in Business at Utah.

Why did you choose Utah and what other schools were recruiting you?
NB: I chose Utah, because of the incredible coaching staff and the opportunity to play in the Pac-12. I was recruited by the University of Nevada Reno, Air Force Academy, Grand Canyon University, Seattle University, Columbia University, Yale, and Portland University.

Who has been the most influential person or people in your life and why?
NB: My parents and siblings have been a tremendous influence in all areas of my life. They have shown me leadership, strong work ethic and integrity. I am the youngest of four and all my siblings have competed and are currently competing in college which has been a great source of inspiration and motivation.

What is your favorite baseball memory so far?
NB: My favorite baseball memory so far is winning the 6A Arizona Baseball State Championship.

What are you most excited about in playing baseball for the Utes?
NB: I am most excited about my new teammates and an opportunity to be a Ute.

What goals do you have while in college as well as after college?
NB: While in college, I plan to win a Pac-12 Championship and the College World Series. After college, I will pursue professional baseball with the dream to be in the MLB.
